Right now we are in an "attack" phase from members of the Neo-Con mass media and now apparently by the Department of Homeland Security. These days the word around town is that if you even QUESTION the official story of the events on 9/11 - you are considered a "homegrown" terrorist. The House of Reps has even passed new legislation that says that even "thinking" about disagreeing with the government is grounds for being labeled a "terrorist", thereby foregoing your rights as an American - branded an enemy combatant - and quickly whisped away to a foreign country for "re-education".

Now it is illegal to support Ron Paul - you are now considered a terrorist.

So my Questions is: "Now that they have attacked us - have we won?"

Everyday that goes by I read 10, 20, or 30 different articles about the ever-increasing decline of civilization. Whether its innocent people being slaughtered in Afghanistan, Iraq, Burma, or little girls being beaten up by steroid-laden police here in the US - nothing seems to amaze me. I think I'm becoming preconditioned to expect this worse in every situation. But despite how gloomy this may seem - I think it has made me smarter and "more aware" of the REAL WORLD - not to be confused with the FAKE world you watch on television.

I used to be one of those guys who followed sports - The Spurs, The Longhorns - and could be found on my couch on any given Saturday afternoon or play-off game time - drooling insidiously at the gamma rays being blasted into my brain. I was a sheep being led by the wolf-in-sheep's-clothing corporate media.

Then I watched a documentary called "The Corporation" - which set forth a change in me.

When I go outside into the world I see "people" (IE- society) - becoming rapidly more stupid, more vengeful, more conditioned, drooling, and sleeping. They baulk at you when you try to communicate with them - a simple "Thank You" or good deed like holding the door open, letting them pass in a driving lane before you - like I'm not supposed to do that. Modern day Americans are truly brainwashed from all of the decades upon decades of Mass Media Manipulation.

I hope and pray that if you are reading this that you feel the need for change for not only your life - but for the world.

Finally the day has come. Tax-Truthers Ed and Elaine Brown have been decieved by federal agents in their New Hampshire home. The couple had been protesting the illegal federal income tax law and were sentanced in absentia to 63 months in a federal prison earlier this year. They have been taking refuge in their home estate for the past few months while refusing to give in to the pressure and harrasments from federal agents from the FBI and Dept. of Homeland Security.

The crux of this story is that the federal government has refused to show the Browns the law that says that they need to pay a tax on their income. Most if not all Americans are duped into believing that the tax on their "labor" is legal and supports various functions of the government. The reality is that the 16th amendment that calls for the labor tax was never ratified and therefore not enforceable. There IS not tax on a persons labor. You do not have to pay 4 months of taxes per year as a penalty for your labor. While this lie has been continuing on for decades after decades, little does the population know that the money they pay goes directly into the offshore bank accounts of INTERNATIONAL BANKERS. The federal income tax that WE AMERICANS pay goes towards the interest on the Federal Reserve's illegal issuance of the dollar.

The Browns have been asking all along for the government to produce the paperwork that says that they must pay a tax on their labor. The judge in their case refused their request, thereby forcing the Browns to quit going to court.

I wish the Browns the best of luck with their current situation. I hope this wakes up more Americans to the fact that the government brainwashes us into believing all kinds of myths like the "official" story of 9/11. Please watch "America: Freedom to Fascism" by Aaron Russo to see the truth.

Day 1 began with Michael Geoghegan, CEO of Gigavox Media and co-author of Podcast Solutions. I learned that RSS is no longer a big deal (which means I am falling behind) - but that only 50% of your subscribers use RSS to find you (so maybe I'm not that far behind). He basically says don't let RSS define you. This is the first mention of the "Ask a Ninja" series - using Podcasts, Newsletters, RSS, and banners to promote your work. There are 3 types of currency in the digial media realm - 1. being an expert 2. noteriety and 3. actual $$. He did a great job of going through his Media Kit and explaining the various elements that it takes to build one for going out and getting sponsorships. This is something I'll make use of for getting SouthSlam sponsorships. Also on the "to-do" list will be to subscribe to Google alerts for everything that falls into my domain.

The next conference was entitled "How to Make Your Video Wildly Popular". One thing that I will do after this conference is use TubeMogul to post my videos to Google, YouTube, Imeem, and about 10 other sites. This will make distribution a lot easier. This session also spoke about what makes a video go "viral" - and it comes down to emotions - love, joy, suprise, anger, sadness, and/or fear. I think for the work that I'm doing I touch on a couple of these - anger/fear - but having this in my mind going into filming I will get more out of my video in terms of the "human experience". I also hear the 2nd mention of the "Ask a Ninja" series.

The 3rd session of the day was by far the best - Paul Colligan from PodcastSecret.com - amazing presenter. Funny and articulate. He maps out the 7 secrets of content monetization and elaborates extensively on each. I made a promise to myself (thanks to Paul) to get my 8DFM content on DVD and sell it through kunaki.com. He also preaches - "YOU ARE THE MEDIA!!" and to "THINK LIKE BIG MEDIA".

Finally capping day one was "Thinking like a Customer, not a Competitor". This was a little more dry, although still pertenant. I left about half way through to go to the "Levelator" session and learned a little bit about editing my Podcast.

More to come on day two - so far I've already made back my investment to come out to L.A. in the first day - what a Return on Investment with 2 days to go!!

The movie that changed my life - "The Corporation" - go check it out - ( thecorporation.tv ) - this movie compares the entity called a "Corporation" to a psychotic person according to the World Health Organization standard. Since a "corporation" is a legal "person" - the film examines the characteristics of that person - decieving, no worry for others wellbeing, no regard for human safety, and an overall obviously hideous person. I watched this film over 5 times - there's just so much information you need to see it at least twice. My own personal realization of me being a huge sports fan was exposed, my perspective changed - the NCAA, the NBA, the NFL, and especially MLB (which I could care less) are all corporations. Everytime you cheer your team or watch them on TV you are feeding the beast. Think about it - every year there is a new season. Its entertainment - but think of how much time and money you spend being a sports fan - and think of how much money you're making the owners of these teams. I've come to the conclusion that major league sports are a form of slavery and exploitation. Was I a fool for being such a Longhorn and Spurs fan all this time?
